I just wanted to quickly mention that I am closing commissions for an indefinite amount of time. I will finish the ones I have and keep the three remaining slots open and available on the $10 deal from the previous journal, but after that, I simply no longer have the time. This includes making character designs and hypo-kits. 

They may re-open one day in the future, but today is not that day!

So... I don't want to go into too much detail, mostly because there's a lot I don't know or understand, but I was in contact with my bank recently because someone has been withdrawing money on my account to use for escort services... so I'm short $80 until/unless my bank can get it back for me when my information is updated. And I'm not even sure if that's guaranteed. 

So I'm opening $10 commissions for flat-coloured pencil brush cat characters, such as:

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering what kind of designs people would be interested in from me? I'm going to make a couple of more batches in the future just to make them, but if anyone has any specific ideas in mind, I'm all ears. I aim to do most of them as fully realistic/plausible genetically, toying with different genes per batch, but I might do some fantasy designs too (just for balance, and to exercise another part of my brain).

I was additionally considering opening up commissions for a limited amount of time. I want to practice painting more, so instead of just doing different Warriors character I was taking in mind the possibility of doing avatars/headshot commissions like this (for cat characters, and no matter whether they're genetically accurate or not):

<sub>I was thinking that this might be a good way to get back into the groove of drawing cats, but instead of just finding and pulling up a list of 100 <1>Warriors</1> characters, I was thinking of letting you guys leave comments on who you want me to draw. I will only be doing headshots (I really want to practice feline facial features) and I ask that you do not comment with Dawn of the Clan characters or Ancients, (and if you ask for an apprentice, please provide a link to their wikia page or something). I've been toying with the idea for longer than I care to admit!

I want to make a cat genetics simulation game, preferably one on a website, such as Lioden, Herding Dog Farms, Eliyo, Northern Call and others have. As it stands right now, it would revolve around feral cat colonies (very open to player personal interpretation though!) and essentially be in part a cat-sim and a breeding game. So, to see if I can genuinely turn this into a reality, I'm going to be shifting my research into website programming (I have SOME experience with coding - not a whole lot, though) and see what I can do to make this little pocket dream come true.

Ideas for it as currently stands:
- Moggies would be your "basic" cat, with special raffles for purebreds - eventually I would like to research dominance in physical traits (nose, ears, physique, etc.) so that mixed breed offspring may acquire specific features from different parents... like breeding a Maine Coon with a Oriental, etc.
- Mutations such as dwarfism, ojo azules, folded ears, curled ears, taillessness, polydactly(ness) and etc. that can be inherited from purebreds or have a chance of springing up using special items (treating homozygous as lethal as they are, as well - meaning breeding homozygous ojos azules, folded ears, etc. will result in dead kittens - so this game wouldn't really be for kids or the faint of heart, lol)
- Various shades (at least 3 to start) of different coat colours, and various (again, at least 3 to start) versions of a single pattern, ie. mackerel 1, 2 and 3. Would grow over time.
- "Cat food" could either be purchased or cats can try their luck at hunting, which would attribute to a hunting skill 
- Stats for a possible explore/encounter feature
- Alternatively, I could go "show cat" route with contests and conformity, but to me, personally, I'd much rather play with moggies and genetics. Still might have a show feature for purebreds. I just don't know! Lol

If anyone has any tips of tricks on website building, please let me know!

<sub>I need to start making some money on the side while I look for a school- NY just declared college tuition free for low-income families like myself, so now's the time to enroll. Possible college books aside, I mostly need the cash for my dogs, to make sure I can buy their food every month, get their nails clipped (to avoid dew claw punctures), hair cut (with summer heat coming up), etc. My 13 y/o just got her teeth cleaned and blood-work done, and it was a sting on my pockets. I would just like to be comfortable in my dog-spending expenses. No kidding, the love between my dogs and I is what has kept me going all these years, so I really owe it to them to treat them well.

To test the waters on how commissions go, I'm opening 3 commission slots for headshots of feline characters, done in a painted style similar to this:



$15.00 per headshot + $2.00 paypal tax, averaging about $17.00 USD. 
A single portrait with an additional character like the example above would be $20.00 + $2.00 paypal tax, averaging at about $22.00 USD.

Please note me if you are interested - keep in mind however that I also have the right to decline a commission.
